1. About OicZip

OicZip is an Android image utility app for compressing, resizing, converting, and batch-processing images.

2. Image Processing

When you select an image using Android's Photo Picker, the selected image is processed locally on your device. Compression, resizing, format conversion, and batch processing are performed on-device.

• OicZip does not upload your selected photos to an OicZip server.
• OicZip does not maintain a cloud photo library.
• Processed image files are saved locally or to your device's media storage only when you choose to save them.
• Sharing an image is initiated by you through Android's sharing mechanism.

3. Permissions and Device Storage

OicZip is designed to avoid broad photo and storage permissions. Image selection uses Android's system Photo Picker. The app declares Internet access for advertising services.

Saved output may be written to the device gallery using Android MediaStore. Temporary processing files may be created locally and cleaned up by the app.

4. Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

The free version of OicZip uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display advertising. Google may process information needed to deliver, measure, secure, and improve advertising services, subject to Google's policies and applicable consent choices.

Depending on configuration, applicable data may include advertising or app/device identifiers, approximate location information derived from network information, ad interactions, diagnostics, and related technical information.

OicZip does not use AdMob to upload or store the photos you process with the app.

5. Consent and Privacy Choices

OicZip uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for applicable consent requirements. Users in applicable regions may be shown a consent message and can manage or withdraw advertising consent through the available privacy controls.

Within OicZip, users can access Privacy & Ad Consent from Settings when privacy options are available.

6. Information OicZip Does Not Collect Directly

• No OicZip user account or registration system.
• No name, email address, phone number, contacts, or financial information is required by the app.
• No precise GPS location permission is requested.
• No OicZip server-side photo or image-pixel collection.

7. Sharing

OicZip does not sell your photos. Advertising-related information may be processed by Google and its advertising partners as described in Google's applicable policies and the consent choices presented to users.

8. Data Security

OicZip is designed to minimize data exposure by processing images locally and using Android's scoped storage and secure content-sharing mechanisms. Data handled by third-party advertising services is protected according to those providers' applicable security practices and policies.

9. Retention and Deletion

OicZip does not maintain a cloud account or cloud photo storage for users. Locally created output and temporary files are under the user's device storage controls and the app's local cleanup behavior. Advertising-related information is handled and retained by Google according to Google's applicable policies.

10. Children's Privacy

OicZip is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require an account or ask users to submit personal information to OicZip.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, advertising services, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
